Victory in Europe (VE) Day on 8 May 1945 saw Britain and its Allies formally accept Nazi Germany's unconditional surrender after almost six years of war.
We made the difficult decision to close the home to all visitors on the 16th March 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak and the fear we had for our resident's safety and ultimately their lives.
